Through the scheme, the pence amount of your annual interest is donated to the Leeds Building Society Charitable Foundation and our other key partner charities: Help the Aged, Marie Curie and Save the Children. The maximum amount you donate is only 99p per account each year, but if all of our members participate, it adds up to an amount that could make a real difference!
The money will be split equally between the charities on the same date as the rest of the interest is credited to your account, so once you’ve agreed to donate, you don’t need to do anything else.
Whenever the interest is paid to your account, the pence interest will automatically be donated to the scheme. If you change your mind, you can stop your donation at any time by contacting your local branch or calling us on 0113 225 7777.
